After her teacher told Sarah that she should quit playing soccer to be a part of Richard III, she fell in love with the art of acting. Sarah discovered her love for acting further and decided to majoring in English and theatre on the campus of Hamilton College. She studied in the UK at Oxford and London in her senior years and received an honorary magnacum laude. Following Hamilton She attended Yale Drama School.
