Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney was born Amal R. Alamuddin. She is a Lebanese British legal practitioner and human rights advocate. A graduate of Oxford University School of Law, and New York University School of Law. Amal Clooney has an extensive and long-running track record as a lawyer in the international arena as well as investor. Her clients include several notable nation-states including Armenia and the struggle it has to get the Turkish Government acknowledge that there was an Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney was engaged in 2014 and later was married in 2015 to American actor George Clooney. She instantly became an household name. Before this, she had established herself as a household name by the legal profession for her ability to represent clients. The job she has is to represent multinational companies during court hearings and discussions about government regulation, and also social justice or human rights. Since 2015, she is an attorney, a type of legal representative for British courts in London's Doughty Street Chambers.
